The Many, Many Talents of the Bear Creek Staff real… or imagined…



 This month we will be featuring Marilyn Sut. Marilyn has worked at Bear Creek for the past 13 years. She is a master knitter and likes to knit cozy covers for not only fast motorcycles but large construction vehicles. She is currently working on an impressive cozy for an articulated hauler. Marilyn likes to spend time writing limericks and working in her attic.

Lynsay Sands is one of my favorite authors

 I have read, and in some cases reread, her Argeneau and Rogue Hunter series, and love them all. I just finished reading,Taming the Highland Bride, and Devil of the Highlands. These are part of her historical books. Check out Lynsay Sands website for a complete list of all of her books.

This week I am reading Eloisa James’s novels. I have a nice big stack to keep me happy and content over this rainy weekend!

What do you know about Eloisa James? She writes historical romance and is a New York Times bestselling author. Her books are addicting and she makes you fall in love with her characters.

The Bear Creek Book Club met on Wednesday, March 3rd and discussed the book My Antonia by Willa Cather. They will meet again On April 7th at 7 pm to discuss The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

This month we will be featuring Sunyoung Park.

Have you had a chance to check out our fantastic window art? Come and see the latest and greatest art work by our very own Sunyoung Park! She has created a magical window display for Read Across America which is celebrated on March 2nd. Sunyoung has an Art Degree from the University of Texas-Austin. When she is not working away diligently at the library she is dreaming of someday painting a mural on the ceiling of the public restrooms. Sunyoung has visited Alaska and Hawaii.
