Gearing up for the rodeo

This time of year things are really starting to gear up for the Houston Rodeo, where you can see roping, saddle bronc and bull riding.  Now is the time to buff up on your cowboy lingo.  If you are like me and don’t know very much about cowboys now is a good time to try out some of these authors who definitely have a soft spot for the Wild West.

I'm making a list

The New Year is quickly approaching!  I always make a list of all the things I am going to change or fix.  In addition to that long list I also pick some new authors I want to try.  I have always wanted to read all of the books in the card game Authors, I have not done it yet………. but one day I will!  For now it will go back on the list again this New Year and most likely the next one too.  I am determined to try at least one new author a month for 2012.  Do you have a list?

Here are some of the names on my list:

Brenda Novak
