Lend a Hand

Looking for service hours? Want to help out the library? We’re looking for volunteers at the Maud Marks Branch Library. You can pick up an application at the Information Desk; be sure to include your requested schedule and if you’re under 18 your parent or guardian needs to sign too.

Please note that all teen volunteers must attend an orientation session before starting. If you’re interested you’re in luck - our October volunteer orientation session is next Tuesday, October 6 at 7pm. See you there!

Afternoon Art This Wednesday!

What Can You Buy For a Dollar?

Would you like to build your home library?  Stop by the Friends of the Maud Marks Library Book Sale this Saturday, August 29 from 10am to 5pm. Items include fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books. Nothing is over one dollar, and the proceeds support the library!

Remember, you can also buy a book bag for just three dollars to hold all of your purchases!

Can't Get Enough of the Library?

Are you in high school or older? Do you need to get some work experience or service hours for your organization? Come and volunteer at the Maud Marks Branch Library! Volunteers shelve books, prepare crafts, and help with other special projects. Pick up an application at the Information Desk, then return it and we’ll call back regarding schedules. Please note that new volunteers must attend one of our orientation sessions which are generally offered once a month (the first is Friday, September 11 at 4:30pm).

Volunteers Making a Difference

Here at the Maud Marks Branch we have a great group of teen and adult volunteers! They help with everything from shelving to program set-up. If you’re in high school or older and interested in volunteering this fall stop by for an application!
