Friends of the Fairbanks Library Book Sale

Hello Everyone! Our Friends of the Fairbanks Library will be holding a Book Sale here at the Fairbanks Library on Saturday, June 16 from 10 am to 3 pm in the meeting room.  They will have books of all genres, DVDs, music, audio books for sale.  All monies go toward programming at the Fairbanks Library. 

To volunteer to help the Friends set up on Friday, June 15 from 3-6 pm and/or take down on Saturday, June 15 from 3-6 pm, please call us at 713-466-4438 to sign up.  Any help would be appreciated!

Fairbanks Library at Jersey Village Farmer's Market

Hello Everyone.  Fairbanks Library will be at the Jersey Village Farmer's Market on Sunday, May 6 from 12-3 pm. Come visit us at our booth and make a gift for Mother's Day! We will also be giving away free books for teens, making library cards, and checking out books. 

The Jersey Village Farmer's Market will be at the Jersey Village Civic Center on 16327 Lakeview Dr. See you there!

Hello Everyone. Join us in the meeting room at Fairbanks Library on Monday, November 6th at 6 pm for a presentation on Veteran PTSD Awareness by a representative from Camp Hope. Camp Hope is located here in the Fairbanks area and provides interim housing for our Wounded Warriors, veterans and their families suffering from combat related PTSD. Whether you have a loved one suffering from PTSD or just want to gain more awareness about veterans with PTSD, please feel free to join us. You can register by us at calling 713-466-4438. Now that summer programming is near its end, the Crochet and Knitting Circle will be resuming its normal hours at 12:30-2:30 pm this coming Thursday, August 10th in the meeting room of the Fairbanks Library. Adult Boardgamers Afternoon at Fairbanks Library

Hello Everyone. Join us at the library in the meeting room on Saturday, July 29 from 12 pm to 4:30 pm for an afternoon of boardgaming! Kids Café - Free Lunches for Kids

Hello Everyone. HCPL has partnered with the Houston Food Bank to provide free nutritious lunches to kids 18 and under at select branches during the summer. Fairbanks Branch will be serving every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:30-1:30 pm, from June 6th to August 10th in the meeting room. There is no need to register and all children under 18 qualify.
