Money Management Workshop at Kingwood Library

MoneyHave trouble managing your income? Interested in professional help for advice? On Tuesday, March 26 at 10:30 AM, Money Management International will visit Kingwood Branch Library to present Managing Income & Expenses.

 Learn the basics of creating a budget, calculating net worth, and more. The program will be held in the Meeting Room located on the 1st Floor.

Graphic Novels receive Cybils Awards

A few weeks ago, School Library Journal posted Three Graphic Novels Take Cybils Awards.
Cybils, Children’s and Young Adult Bloggers’ Literacy Awards, is an annual  event that highlights Children’s and Young Adult books that “combine the highest literary merit and kid appeal.” Visit their website for more information about these awards, past winners, and more!

Upcoming programs for Black History Month

On Monday, February 18th, the Kingwood Library Book Club will discuss Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon in the Conference Room located on the 2nd Floor. Stop by for mind-stimulating conversation and fun!

Also, on Monday the 18th, teens can stop by the Teen Room to create and print Adinkra designs onto cloth! Cloth printing will begin at 4:30 PM; be sure to stop by early while supplies last!

Art Displays at Kingwood Branch Library
