From June 1 through August 1, 2007 adults ages 18 years and over can register for the Summer Reading Program at any Barnes & Noble location or Harris County Public Library (HCPL) branch.

Participants that read or listen to three (3) books during the summer are eligible for prizes. You can find more details at your nearest HCPL location.

Ages 18 and over

1. The Summer Reading program runs from Wednesday, June 1, through Wednesday, August 1, 2007.
2. Register at a Harris County Public Library branch or Barnes and Noble book store by filling out a registration form and taking the Reading Log portion home to record the titles.
3. Read or listen to 3 books for a chance to earn a Barnes and Noble Gift Card. Each branch and each Barnes and Noble location will draw for a gift card winner from their returned completed logs. There will also be one grand prize winner from all returned logs across the county. Check with your local HCPL branch for participation in further incentives.
4. Reading logs should be turned in by August 15, 2007.
