Mint--herbs program

Have you ever wondered whether gardening with herbs is challenging?  Have you attempted to grow herbs, but are getting tired of the constant trial and error?  Would you like to expand your gardening know-how or learn about the herbs’ various uses and benefits?  The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Harris County Master Gardeners will walk you through planting, growing, caring for, and using herbs.

Yoga for Adults, Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm

Beginner level YOGA class every Wednesday evening at 6:15pm. Yoga is a system of physical exercises, breath control, and meditation aimed at attaining bodily and mental control and well-being. The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit word Yuj, meaning to “yoke,” “join,” or “unite.” The word implies joining or integrating all aspects of the body with the mind to achieve a healthy and balanced life. Friday, 3/8 @ 10:15 AM TGIF Programs March Movie Madness Event 1

TGIF Programs invites adults of all ages to join us for our March Movie Madness on various dates throughout the month. These free events require no registration.

We look forward to kicking off March Movie Madness on Friday, 388 at 10:15 AM with the 1940 Alfred Hitchcock film adaptation of the Daphne Du Maurier novel about a self-conscious bride tormented by the memory of her husband's dead first wife. This unrated film which lasts 130 minutes, stars Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine, and George Sanders.

Creative Art Club for Adults, Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 pm

Studies have shown that coloring and other art activities can help lower anxiety levels, reduce stress, and prevent boredom. Come and join us at the Northwest Branch Library and get in touch with your creative side. All materials will be provided by the library, event is free and open to the public. SAGE: Cooking with Maria - Instant Pot Series

There were some delicious smells coming from the Meeting Room at Kingwood Library on the morning of Tuesday, February 26th. Maria was here to present tips & techniques on how to use an Instant Pot with confidence. The SAGE program featured samples of Maria's Colombian-style grilled chicken breast and quinoa cooked on spot.
