If You Can Read This . . .

Tutor 3It probably doesn’t surprise that there are adults all over the U.S. either can’t read or can’t read well. It may surprise you that, if you can read this, you can help one of them. How? By being a volunteer (unpaid) literacy tutor. No teaching experience is needed and we will train you and supply you with materials. The Aldine Library will host a free tutor training workshop on Friday, October 5, from 1-5 pm. If you feel that this would be a good way for you to help people in your neighborhood, please register here. If you have questions, please give us a call.
