Infant Storytime Now On Tuesdays and Thursdays at Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek

a b cWhat’s better than one Infant Storytime at the library? Two Infant Storytimes at the library!  Come join us as we sing, dance, play and shake things up, Tuesdays at 11:15 AM or Thursdays at 10:30 AM.  We are building future readers one song, story and finger play at a time. Come grow with us.

Infant Storytime is a program for children from birth to 18 months of age.  This is a ticketed program. Tickets are available at the information desk starting at 10:00 AM on the day of the program.

Pajama Party @ NC Baby Time

Pajama PartyChristmas is only 9 days away and to keep us in the spirit, Baby Time is having a Pajama Party on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.

Come in your favorite pajamas and ready for some fun. We will read some fun bedtime stories, and Santa stories as well. 

Baby Time is year-round and recommended for babies 0 to 18 months. It is a one on one program intended for child and parent/caregiver.
Check the Events Calendar for other programs like Toddler Time, ages 18 months - 3 years old, and Pre-School Story time, ages 3 - 6 years old.

Tiny Tuesday - I Spy Bottles

 

It's Tiny Tuesday Time!

Tuesday November 17 10:15 AM

We will have our regular Tiny Tuesday Storytime with songs, rhymes and books.

Afterwards we will make I Spy Bottles for the little ones.

Use them on roadtrips, during holiday shopping, or anytime you need to keep your baby occupied and engaged.

Ages 0-2 are welcome.

Baby Time and Pre-School Story Times @JC Library


Moms, Dads, Grand-parents, Baby-sitters! Looking to get the kids out of the house for some learning fun? Come on down to the Jacinto City Library for a story time. BabyTime (0-18 months) is on Wednesdays at 10:30 am and a Pre-school Story Time  is on Thursdays at 1 pm. Our story times have more than just a good story. Infant Explorers at Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library

Discovery Bottles for InfantsPlease join us for Infant Explorers this Thursday, October 1 at 10:30 am.  This is a time for infants, ages 0 to 18 months, and their caregivers to come and explore through both play and sensory stimulation.  This month we will be featuring Discovery Bottles.  There are so many fascinating objects that are too small for infants to safely explore.  Discovery bottles provide an opportunity for your child to safely explore these objects.  Infant Explorers is a come and go activity from 10:30 to 11:30 am on the first Thursday of the month.  We hope to see you there. 

Upcoming October Events @Jacinto City Library

October is quickly approaching and the library is gearing up for some great new events and programming!  Here are some programs to look for next month:

ESL Lab with Mango– Starting Friday, October 2nd, we will be having a new ESL class using the program Mango every Friday at 1 pm in the meeting room.  Most helpful for beginning English speakers. Register today!

No, it’s Baby Summer Reading Program!  Did you know that anyone of any age can sign up and take part in our Summer Reading Program, including the littlest members of your family?  You can sign up your baby and either track books that you read or activities that you do together.  Activities include blowing bubbles, reading a bedtime story, singing a counting song, going for a color walk, and more!  Ever
