Rewards For Reading

I just realized that I never told everyone about the cute little prizes that our wonderful young readers are getting. Well, that wasn’t very nice of me, was it? No problem it’s not that late.

Infant Rhyme Time

Join us Tuesdays at  11:15 am for fun activities gear for children 18 months.

Infant Explorers: Rainbow Obleck

Infant Explorers is this Thursday  at 10:30 am. obleck made with cornstarch water and foodcoloringIn our Infant Explorers program we invite babies 0-18 months to explore with all there senses. It is a big, fun mess.  Dress down because your clothes and your child's clothes will likely be covered in our Rainbow Obleck activity.  We will be using cornstarch, water and food coloring to create a partly liquid, partly solid goo.

Are you a Book-aneer?

Now that “the spring has sprung,” you may want to spend more time outdoors (well, maybe after the city’s trees’ pollen production has subsided).  If so, why not plan one of your walks or trips to the park around a visit to the library? Whether you want to introduce your “little ones” to the wonderful realm of books, or whether they already love reading (or being read to), an escapade to one of our library’s storytimes may be quite an adventure!  Last week, Mrs. Donna talked about seeds and gardening, and this week, she will try to introduce you to her favorite pirates, and she promises they won’t be (too) scary.  Plus, she always shares with you some of her other beloved books.

So don’t dilly-dally!  We have the perfect times for you—after-breakfast and right-before-lunch:
