Stop by High Meadows Branch Library on Thursday, March 2 at 4:30pm  for our Read Across America celebration of Doctor Seuss’s birthday. Listen to a great Dr. Seuss book, vote for your favorite Dr. Seuss story, and make yourself some slippity-sloop and gloppity-gloop!

Read-In at the Fairbanks Library!

All kids 5-10 are welcome to come and read whatever they want on Tuesday, March 14 from 2-5pm! Bring a pillow, blanket, bean bag chair! Whatever you need to be comfy as we sit back, relax, and share a favorite passage, story, or character! There will be snacks and door prizes! Come and go as you like!

Pajama Storytime on Thursday, March 2 @ 6:00 pm

Children and their grown ups are invited to Freeman's monthly Pajama Storytime on Thursday, March 2 at 6:00 pm.  This fun family outing is held on the first Thursday of the month.  The program features stories, songs, and fingerplays as well as a craft or activity at the end of the program.  Children are welcome to wear pajamas and bring a snuggly blanket or stuffed toy.

Tickets are required. They are free and available at the Kids Information Desk starting at 5:30 pm.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for their generous support of this program.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Freeman children are invited to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss on Thursday, March 2 at 4:30 pm.  Schools, libraries, and bookstores around the world are celebrating on this same day.   We'll have fun crafts, games, and a special treat to celebrate his many contributions to children's literature.

This program is designed for children of all ages.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available in the Children's Department starting at 4:00 pm.  Due to the popularity of this program, we recommend that children and their grown up arrive 15-20 minutes before the tickets are to be distributed.  Special thanks to the Friends of Freeman Library for their generous support of this program each year.

In honor of Dr. Seuss’s 113th birthday, the library will be hosting a special Read Across America event on March 2 from 4:00-6:00 pm.  Join us and play wacky games, try to guess how many goldfish are in a jar,  make green eggs and ham cookies and fish lollipops, and have all kinds of fun!.Green eggs and ham

Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash

Gertrude McFuzz says -  Come celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday and "Read Across America" and help us bust open a Dr. Seuss Piñata!  The event begins Wednesday, March 1 at 3:15 pm. 

Sorry we cannot accommodate Daycare groups for this program.

Happy, Sad, Tired or Mad Come Learn about Feelings in Toddler Time at the Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library

feelingsJoin us on Wednesday, March 1 at 10:15 AM or 11:00 AM for a fun session of Toddler Time.  We will be learning about our feelings. What is your face telling the world about your feelings?  Come join the fun at Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library.

Toddler Time is an early literacy program for children from 18 months to 3 years of age.  This is a ticketed program.  Free tickets and a craft are available in the children’s area of the library starting at 10:00 AM on the day of the program.
