Community Craft – Holiday Printmaking December 21st @ 4 PM [7+]

Printmaking is an art form where you carve or etch an image into a medium, roll ink or paint onto it, and press it to paper or canvas.

For this holiday season, we are going to be etching seasonal designs into foam plates and printing them onto paper.

Join us on December 21st at 4 PM to experiment with a new art in the Library Community Room.

Ricky and Lucy Update

A lot has happened over the last few months, and we thought it would be nice to give you all an update on how Ricky and Lucy are doing.  First of all, they are doing good.  They survived the stress of Harvey and have been on a journey since then staying with beloved staff as a temporary home until we re-open.  They are adjusting well and look healthy and happy.  Birds seem to be like children; they are resilient and make it through tough times with laughter and smiles, or should one say happy chirping.   We will continue to keep you updated on the birds, and post a picture of them now and then.  We love Ricky and Lucy, and we know you do to!
