October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and High Meadows Branch Library has put together a display to honor the fight against the disease. Breast cancer touches nearly every one of us in some way. Our display includes:
• Books that about survivors and question about breast cancer from your leading experts.
• Pamphlets about: Breast cancer in Young Women, What You Need to Know and organizations for survivors.
• Ribbon cards to celebrate survivors, those who have died and those who are still fighting. (Write a name/memory of someone you know who has breast cancer. They will be placed around the display.)
