Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint

Are you interested in getting more out of your Microsoft PowerPoint program?  Maud Marks Library has the class for you!  On Saturdays, December 2 at 1 PM, and December 9 and 16 at 10 AM, Mr. Uday Chittal will be going beyond the basics of how to use Microsoft PowerPoint.  Really learn the intricacies of this program.  This is a three part class.  Participants should be able to come to all three classes.  Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required.  Seating for this is extremely limited. December Computer Classes

Windows 10In December, we are offering the following computer classes:

Intermediate Word—December 7
One-on-One—December 14
Windows 10—December 21
Computer Basics—December 28

All classes are scheduled for Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.  One-on-one sessions are 30 minutes each.  You are welcome to bring your own device.

Medicare Learning Event: Monday, December 4, 7:00 pm. La Porte resident Steve Baker of BakerSeniors will give an informative and educational program about Medicare. Clear up the confusion!  Free and open to everyone. No registration required.

No Story Times the Week of Thanksgiving

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, there will be no story times the week of Nov. 21 through Nov. 25. The story times will reconvene on Tuesday Nov. 28. All story times have limited space and tickets can be picked up when we open on the mornings of the story time.
Preschool Story Time: Tuesdays 10:15 am Ages 3-5
Baby Bookworms: Tuesdays 11:15 am Ages 0-18 months
Toddler Time: Wednesdays 10:30 am Ages 18 months-2 years
