For those who are planning to be Newt for Halloween, you’ll be just that much closer to your costume as we are going to make a Bowtrickle to hide behind your lapel.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are celebrating one of Mexico’s most famous artists, Frida Kahlo. Frida Kahlo painted many famous portraits throughout her career.

Frequently, her self-portraits featured a flowered headband. In the same spirit, we will be making Frida Kahlo inspired flower headbands.

Please join us on Thursday, October 12th at 4 PM in the Library Community Room to learn more about the artist, her influence, and her paintings.
