Pokémon Club @ NC

Pokemon ClubPokémon Club will meet this Saturday, July 29th, at 3 PM in the Public Meeting Room. Bring your Pokémon cards, DS games, or phones to battle other Pokémon trainers at North Channel Library.
Pokémon Club meets the last Saturday of every month for gaming and small crafts or movies. Please contact us at 281-457-1631 for any questions.

Meditation for Stress Reduction and Relaxation (For Ages 18+): Saturday, August 5, 10:30 am. Rosalinda Segovia-Robertson, National Association of Certified Yoga Teachers, will teach a class about relaxing and easing stress through meditation. Dress comfortably. No registration required.

Knit/Crochet Circle for Adults: Tuesday, August 8, 10 am (Second & Fourth Tuesday of the Month). Bring your current knit or crochet project for two hours of peaceful needlework. No registration required.

Wednesday @ 10 AM - Adult Craft-In: Safety Pin Bracelet

Adults - Wednesday 7/12 @ 10 AM - If you're signed up, don't forget to join us For the second of three Adult Craft In's this summer join us and learn how to make a colorful and easy safety pin bracelet.

Community Craft – Trash to Treasure Recycled Puppets July 14th @ 3 PM [8+]

 

 

Every time we throw away a container, we are losing a piece of potential. Recyclables that are considered trash could be turned into treasure.

Join us at 3PM in the Library Community Room on July 14th to turn recyclables into puppets. Refreshments will be provided by the Parker Williams Branch Friends of the Library.

July Adult Crafts-To-Go - New Project!

Adults - stop by the upstairs Reference Desk, to pick up an Adult Crafts-To-Go kit. In July, we're making a decorative flower (see picture). This free kit will include all materials necessary as well as instructions. This project will be available to adult patrons while supplies last.

Teen DIY and a Movie – Raiders of the Lost Ark (PG-13) and Indiana Jones Gear July 10th @ 3 PM [13+]

For the summer, we are celebrating iconic action movies of the 80s. We are continuing with the iconic Indiana Jones in his first movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark. While watching the movie, we’ll be working on some classic Indiana Jones gear.

For a whip cracking good time, join us in the Library Community Room on July 10th at 3 PM.
