TGIF Programs Summer Film Festival Kicks Off Friday!

TGIF Programs invites adults of all ages to join us for our Summer Film Festival. We will be showing films on various dates during Summer 2017. This free event requires no registration.

We look forward to showing on Friday, June 2 at 10:15 AM High Society, the 1956 musical comedy, starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Frank Sinatra.


SRP 2017Our 2017 Summer Reading Program will begin next week, Monday, June 5th. This year our theme is Build a Better World, and North Channel will offer programming and fun for all ages. Stop by the front desk and pick up a calendar of events for the whole summer, or check the Online Calendar for all North Channel Events.
Yellow Calendar is for Children's Programming, recommended for 0 - 11 years old.
Orange Calendar is for Teen Programming, recommended for 12 - 18 years old.

Green Thumb Gardening Series

The Texas AgriLife Extension Service and the Harris County Master Gardeners are pleased to offer the Green Thumb Gardening Series of lectures. These are free lectures that cover an array of topics. All lectures will be located in our Earl Elliott Meeting Room on a Thursday evening from 6:30pm-8:30pm. There is no registration for this event.

Adults - The TGIF Programs Friday Film Series continues Friday at 10:15 AM. In recognition of Asian - Pacific American Heritage Month, we look forward to showing Flower Drum Song, the 1961 musical comedy starring Nancy Kwan, James Shigeta, and Benson Fong.

Our Summer Reading Program is coming up in a few weeks. During the Summer, every book you read or activity you participate in earns you points that you can later use to win a prize!* We also have tons of activities that you and your family are encouraged to attend (some activities require registration or tickets).
