Homeschool Support Group

Starting in September, we will be offering a Homeschool Support Group. Each month, we will highlight a different theme and discuss with suggested materials. In September, we will be meeting on September 15th and the theme is Reading Aloud / English Language Arts & Reading.

Variety of backgrounds, religious beliefs, and lifestyles are encouraged. We come with an open mind and words of encouragement. Reflect, pick brains, grow, and plan for the future.

If you have any questions, please call us at 832-927-7800.

We look forward to hearing and sharing experiences and knowledge.

Programs and services are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant. Special accommodations can be requested in advance by contacting the library.

Fantasy Football 101

We still have a few slots open for our #FantasyFootball101 class happening on Monday, August 20th @ 7pm.

To succeed in fantasy football, you will need the business shrewdness of a general manager, the knowledge of a pro scout, and the strategy of a head coach. Fantasy football allows you to compose and control your own team of NFL players.

Learn the fundamentals of the game and discover where you can play different types of fantasy football to compete against friends and/or strangers.

If you have any questions about this program or would like to reserve your spot, please call us at 832-927-7800.

Now that our Summer Reading Program is officially over, and everyone is coming in to get their prizes (by the way, if you haven’t gotten your prize, come to the Reference Desk before August 18th to get it), we at the Evelyn Meador Library thought it might interest our patrons to find out how our Summer Reading Program went. As such, we decided that we would share some of our statistics for summer reading and show how great our summer went.
