Adults - Thursday, 7/20 @ 6:30 PM - Green Thumb Lecture Series presented by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service and the Harris County Master Gardeners. Supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.

This month's topic of discussion will be "Raised Beds, Drip Irrigation & Rain Barrels" on 7/20 at 6:30 pm in the first floor Community Room.

Adults - Wednesday, 7/19 @ 4 PM - Puzzle Me Out - an Adult Jigsaw Puzzle Program!

Come and build some new worlds with Jigsaw Puzzles! This is the last Jigsaw Puzzle program for the Adult Summer Reading Program. We will have jigsaw puzzles in various sizes available, along with some puzzle mats for the larger sizes. If you didn't finish a puzzle in June, you can do so in July. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Activity Fair

Join us for a drop in craft and activity fair on Saturday, July 22nd from 10:30am-12pm. We will have a variety of crafts and projects for the whole family to enjoy together! Help us Build a Better World!

Senior Adult Trip - Registration for 8/10 Trip Opens Tuesday 7/11 @ 10 AM

Senior Adults -  If you are at least 55 years old, then we hope you will consider joining us for a day trip on Thursday, August 10. The Precinct2gether bus will depart from the Freeman Library parking lot. Please plan for plenty of walking and wear comfortable, rubber-soled shoes.

Wednesday @ 10 AM - Adult Craft-In: Safety Pin Bracelet

Adults - Wednesday 7/12 @ 10 AM - If you're signed up, don't forget to join us For the second of three Adult Craft In's this summer join us and learn how to make a colorful and easy safety pin bracelet.

All supplies are provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. Space is limited. Please register in person or by phone by calling (832) 927-5420.

Monday Movie Madness

Hey Lego Fans, and Batman Fans! Today for our Summer Reading Monday Movie Madness we will be watching THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE on our big screen. Don't forget your pillows, blankets, and snacks and join us in the Public Meeting Room at 3 PM. The movie will run for 2 hours and 9 mins. and is rated PG.

Movie Programs are recommended for Children ages 4 and up and require Free Tickets that can be picked up at the front desk of the library. Please call 281-457-1631 for any questions.

TGIF Programs "Meets Up" at Christmas in July

Adults - Our community has many wonderful places to visit and many have special events throughout the year. We are launching "TGIF Programs Meet Ups" where we will explore our community and events beyond the bricks and mortar walls of our library.

Our first Meet Up takes place at the Bay Area Community Center's "Christmas in July" Event on Friday, 7/14 (9 AM - 5 PM) and Saturday, 7 /15 (9 AM - 3 PM). Christmas in July is a fundraiser held at the Bay Area Community Center, which gives seniors and local residents an opportunity to do holiday shopping in their community.

Klein Fire Department Visit

The Klein Fire Department will be stopping by on Tuesday, July 11th at 3pm to talk about Fire Safety! Stop by and get a glimpse of a real life fire truck! If you have any questions, please call us at 281.376.4610.

Adults - Friday 7/7 @ 10:15 AM - TGIF Programs Summer Film Festival Event #3! We look forward to showing Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, a 1954 musical comedy starring Jane Powell, Howard Keel, and Jeff Richards.
