TGIF Programs' Summer Film Festival Event #3 is This Friday!

The Summer Film Festival Event #3 will be on Friday, July 31 at 10:15 AM in the Marge Jacobson Community Room. We will show the classic 1940 comedy, His Girl Friday. This film relates the story of a newspaper editor who uses every trick in the book to keep his ace reporter ex-wife from remarrying. His Girl Friday stars Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell.

Friends of the Library-Kingwood Gives $25,000 for Digital Collections

emedia checkFriends of the Library-Kingwood (FOLK) has generously granted $25,000 to add new material to Harris County Public Library's Digital Media Collection. The bulk of these funds will go to Overdrive eBooks and eAudios for both adults and children. Some of these funds may be used for newer digital collections, including Hoopla's app-based streaming media, OneClickdigital's audiobooks, Flipster's digital magazines, or the HCPL eSelect collection of independent authors – all available through your library card.

Registration Opens Today @ 10 AM - TGIF Senior Adult Trip to NOAA Fisheries Galveston Laboratories

If you are at least 50 years old, then we hope you will join us on a day trip to the NOAA Fisheries Galveston Laboratory on Thursday, August 20. The Precinct2gether bus departs from the Freeman Library parking lot no later than 8:45 AM.

Want to be a library superhero? Come shop at the Friends of the North Channel Library Book Sale! The book sale will be this Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11thbook sale during the library's open hours.  All proceeds from the sale go directly to the North Channel Library to fund various library needs, such as summer performers, books and other items.  Don't miss our book sale this weekend!

Adults - Pick Up Your July Adult Crafts-To-Go Kit Beginning Today!

Adults – please stop by the upstairs Reference Desk, to pick up your own Adult Crafts-To-Go kit. This month, we're making our own magnetic bookmarks. This free kit will include all materials necessary as well as instructions. This project will be available while supplies last.

Book Sale

Join us for the next book sale at the Maud Marks Library on Saturday, June 27, from 10 AM to 4 PM. The Friends of the Maud Marks Library have a large selection of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children's books and paperbacks for rock bottom prices.
