Fantasy Football 101

There are still openings for our #FantasyFootball101 class happening on July 31st at 7pm.

To succeed in fantasy football, you will need the business shrewdness of a general manager, the knowledge of a pro scout, and the strategy of a head coach. Fantasy football allows you to compose and control your own team of NFL players. Learn the fundamentals of the game and discover where you can play different types of fantasy football to compete against friends and/or strangers.

New Computer Installation at the Kingwood Library

Library Customers Using ComputersThe library is excited to share that it is updating its computers for the public. For that to happen we will have to halt Internet and computer services to the public for the entire day on Monday, June 12, as we make the transition. We anticipate those services to be down for only that day and to be back up and running Tuesday, June 13.

During this time everything else at the library offers should be operational. We will still hold our programs. You can browse, checkout and return materials. Our reference help will be available as well.

Thank you so much for your patience during this update. Come give the computers a twirl once we're done!

Microsoft Office 2007: Making the Switch from Office 2003

If you're making the switch from Microsoft Office 2003 to 2007 or considering doing so, check out these interactive tutorials from Microsoft Office Online. The tutorials allow you to click on a command button in the 2003 program of your choice and it then shows you where that command button is now located in the new 2007 Office ribbon. The tutorials can also be downloaded to your computer for later use when you're not connected to the internet. Tutorials are available for Word 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Excel 2007, Access 2007, and Outlook 2007.
