TGIF Programs invites adults of all ages to join us for our Summer Film Fest. We will be showing films on various dates during Summer 2018. This free event requires no registration.

On Friday, August 3 at 10:15 AM, the Summer Film Fest continues with a 1963 musical comedy about a rock singer who travels to a small Ohio town to make his "farewell" television performance and kiss his biggest fan before he is drafted. This unrated film which stars Dick Van Dyke, Ann-Margret, and Janet Leigh lasts 112 minutes.

Libraries Rock! Summer Reading Program Ends: Saturday, August 4. Annual End of Summer Reading Party will be on Thursday, August 2, at 3 pm. If 200 people complete the Summer Reading Program, there will be a special event at the party-David, our Children’s Librarian, will shave his head!

On Friday, July 27 at 10:15 AM, the Summer Film Fest continues with a 1962 musical comedy about how Harold Hill poses as a boys' band leader to con naive Iowa townsfolk. This unrated film which stars Robert Preston, Shirley Jones, and Buddy Hackett lasts 151 minutes.

Join us at the Parker Williams Branch on Monday, July 30th at 3 PM in the Library Community Room.

We’ll be watching the movie while creating our own spy stuff.

Adult Movie Mania: La La Land

Adults are invited to join us this Friday, July 20 at 3:00 PM for our Adult Movie Mania program. Come and enjoy the movie musical La La Land, a 2016 American musical romantic comedy film starring Ryan Gosling as a jazz pianist and Emma Stone as an aspiring actress, who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles while pursuing their dreams.

This unrated film which stars Kathryn Grayson, Ava Gardner, and Howard Keel, last 108 minutes.

This summer, our theme is Libraries Rock! Join us for a musical movie on Tuesdays throughout the summer at 2 PM in the Library Community Room. Our movie this Tuesday is Sing. And please remember, singing along isn’t just allowed, it’s encouraged!
