Abracadabra, Anyone?

Lo and behold! We are in the very last week of Summer reading Program! Join us for our last Summer Reading program tomorrow August 6th 2015 at 3 PM. Also, you all did great with reading. If you haven't logged your books  or your reading minutes in yet, you still have time to log them in. You may pick up your Read-O-Meters from the library as well, on your next visit. Well done everyone and thank you for your enthusiasm and appreciation!

Summer Happenings in the Innovation Lab

The Jocelyn H. Lee Innovation Lab has been a very busy place this summer!  Kids, teens, and adults have all taken advantage of many of the hands-on activities, including circuit building, laser cutting and engraving, engineering challenges, 3D printing, and much more thanks to Patrick Ferrell, Innovation Lab Assistant, and an able and willing group of Lab volunteers.  If you're curious about all the goings-on, you can take a look at the photo album.  Also, be sure to take a look at this month's Innovation Lab program calendar to see all of the fun and interesting things you have the opportunity to learn right here at your library!

New LSCS Print System in the Library

Lone Star College System has implemented a new print/pay system on all LSCS computers. Learn more before your next visit to the college or library.

What's New? You can now:
• Send print jobs to LSC printers by uploading documents to your new online print account at myPrintCenter.lonestar.edu from your personal computer, laptop, or tablet. Then, stop by an LSC print release station to release your print jobs.

• Send print jobs to LSC printers via email. Then, stop by an LSC print release station to release your print jobs.

Is It a Turtle Or a Tortoise?

I really don't know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise. Do you guys know? I wonder what they eat and can you actually keep them as pets? I think I will explode with questions. Are you having similar questions as well? Why don't we put our minds to rest and enjoy a program on Monday, July 13th @ 3 PM? The show is called "Turtles and Tortoises" so we can have answers to all our questions then. Meanwhile, I think I'll and check out a book.
