Children's Storytime - Hershey Kiss Roses

On Thursday, Febrary 11th, 3:30 - 4:30 pm, Jacinto City Library will be having a special Valentine's Day  themed Storytime for the kiddos.  After the story and songs there will be a craft making roses out of Hershey Kisses! Preschool Storytime: Friendship

Join us on Tuesday, February 9th at 10:30 AM for a Friendship themed Preschool Storytime! In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, we will be reading about friends and making simple friendship bracelets. This is a ticketed program, so make sure to get a ticket from the information desk before it starts. Preschool Storytime is intended for children ages 3-5 years.

Special Black History Month Storytime February 10th @ 10:30 AM [4+]

To celebrate Black History Month this year, the Parker Williams Branch will be hosting a special storytime on January 10th at 10:30AM in the Library Community Room.  

Story Selections May Include:

Preschool Storytime: Bedtime

Zzzzzzz. Please join us on Tuesday, February 2nd at 10:30 AM for a bedtime themed Preschool Storytime! We will be reading, singing, and making a fun craft. Remember, you need a ticket for Preschool Storytime, so make sure you grab one from the information desk before the program starts. This storytime is geared towards children ages 3-5 years.

Special Box Storytime *Rescheduled*

 Due to inclement weather we have rescheduled this special storytime for Tuesday, February 2 at 10:15 am. Join us for a very fun box themed story time!  Sorry we cannot accommodate day care groups for this program.

Toddler Time: Sheep

Baaa!!! Join Ms. Melinda and Honey Bear for one of our Toddler Time sessions on Wednesday, January 20th at 10:30 AM or 11:00 AM. This week we are back on the farm as we sing and read about sheep. There will also be a simple craft in the children’s area starting at 10:00 AM.

Toddler Time is a ticketed program. Tickets for the 10:30 AM program will be available at the information desk starting at 10:00 AM. Tickets for the 11 AM session will be made available once the 10:30 tickets run out. Toddler Time is geared towards children 18 months- 3 years of age.

New Story Time Hours and Snowmen!

Starting Thursday, January 7, Jacinto City Library will be changing its Children's Story Time hour to Thursdays at 3 pm.  And to kick off our new schedule, we will be having a special Snowman themed story time and craft.  So come to the library and stay warm with stories, activities, and crafts!
