Another summer of reading and fun at Harris County Public Library has come to a close. Before we can catch our breath, we must thank all of our partners who helped make Summer Reading at HCPL a success. 

Annual End of Summer Party

 Join us for our Annual End of the Summer Party! There may be a sighting of Bob the Builder. Entertainment provided by Incredible Events! Frozen treats will be served. For all ages. No pre-registration required. The program begins Thursday, August 3 at 2:00 pm.

Cookie Cutter Bird Feeders

Join us on Thursday, August 10, 2017 @ 3pm for this fun and easy craft!  Children between the ages of 6 and 12 will be provided all the materials to make a birdfeeder ornament in a variety of cookie cutter shapes!  Then they can take it home and hang it from any tree to attract and feed different types of birds!  No registration is required. Tween Game Day - August 1 @ 2:00 PM

Monopoly! Trouble! Sorry! Bananagrams! Do you enjoy playing board and card games? Then come by the Kingwood Library on Tuesday, August 1, at 2:00 PM, for Tween Game Day. Play the library’s games or bring your own!

Adults - Wednesday, 8/2 @ 10 AM - Adult Craft-In!

Come and learn how to make a fun, easy, and simple clothes pin candle holder. Space still open! Register by contacting the library! Supported by Friends of Freeman

Harry Potter Party

Everyone is welcome at our Harry Potter Party tomorrow, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 2pm.  Stop by the library at 1pm to pick up your ticket and then head over to the Lion's Club across the parking lot at 2pm for crafts, games, and snacks!

End of Summer Party!

Come join our end-of-summer party this Wednesday, August 2 at 10:00 am. Participate in a variety of games and enjoy light refreshments as we celebrate the summer we’ve had and anticipate the year to come.

Teen Cross-Stitch - July 31 @ 1:30 PM

We will be sewing cross-stitch designs with a modern flair on Monday, July 31, from 1:30-3:30. Beginners to Advanced Cross-Stitchers welcomed! Show off your personality with your own needlework!

Pokémon Club @ NC

Pokemon ClubPokémon Club will meet this Saturday, July 29th, at 3 PM in the Public Meeting Room. Bring your Pokémon cards, DS games, or phones to battle other Pokémon trainers at North Channel Library.
