About our instructor: After being diagnosed with a chronic health disorder, Rosalinda was introduced to Yoga. She has found healing and a myriad of health benefits from her practice. As a Yoga teacher, she seeks to inspire and encourage the intentional development of a healthy and balanced mind, body and spirit through yoga and meditation.

No need to bring anything, but please dress comfortably. Free. No registration required.

Monday Movie Madness

Hey Lego Fans, and Batman Fans! Today for our Summer Reading Monday Movie Madness we will be watching THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE on our big screen. Don't forget your pillows, blankets, and snacks and join us in the Public Meeting Room at 3 PM. The movie will run for 2 hours and 9 mins. and is rated PG.

Movie Programs are recommended for Children ages 4 and up and require Free Tickets that can be picked up at the front desk of the library. Please call 281-457-1631 for any questions.

Bring all of your questions for another hour of FREE Basic computer operation instruction! We will be learning Microsoft Excel 2013 and working on BUDGETS!

We are going to cover Excel specifically for creating or editing budgets, whether personal or work-related. Bring your budget rough draft or some ideas and let’s get started on that budget!

Community Craft – Trash to Treasure Recycled Puppets July 14th @ 3 PM [8+]

 

 

Every time we throw away a container, we are losing a piece of potential. Recyclables that are considered trash could be turned into treasure.

Join us at 3PM in the Library Community Room on July 14th to turn recyclables into puppets. Refreshments will be provided by the Parker Williams Branch Friends of the Library.

Klein Fire Department Visit

The Klein Fire Department will be stopping by on Tuesday, July 11th at 3pm to talk about Fire Safety! Stop by and get a glimpse of a real life fire truck! If you have any questions, please call us at 281.376.4610. 

 

Toddler Time Tuesdays @ NC

toddler timeToddler Time on Tuesdays at North Channel Library is a year round ticketed program for Toddlers ages 18 months - 3 years old. There are 2 times at 10:15 AM and 11:15 AM to allow more space for our friends to enjoy their story time. 
Next week, Tuesday, July 11th, Toddler Time will be out on the floor in the Children's Area and therefore we will only have ONE toddler time at 10:30 AM.

Teen 3D Printer Open Lab - July 6 @ 6:30 PM

In this class, teens will learn the basics of TinkerCAD, a 3D design program, to make their own small design, that can then be printed using Kingwood Library’s Ultimaker 3D printer. Class will be held on Thursday, July 6, from 6:30-8:00 PM, in the computer lab. Please note that an email address is required to create a TinkerCAD account.
