Teen Maker Space: Operation Valentine

 Apply your knowledge of simple electric circuits to create a game that can be played and eaten! Think of the old fashion operation game. Ages 10-17. Supplies are limited. This event will be held Wednesday, February 8 at 4:00 pm.

Community Craft – Valentine’s Day Craft February 9th @ 3:30-5:30 PM [6+]

    With Valentine’s day just around the corner, you can make a card for that special someone.

 

   Join us on February 9th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM in the Library Community Room to create a card that expresses all the feels.

Remembering the Holocaust

HolocaustIn honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, representatives from the Holocaust Museum Houston will come to the Aldine Library on Friday, January 27, at 4:00 pm to present a program about personal narratives from the victims of the Holocaust. In addition, at 1:00 the library will show a movie about a young girl who lives in Germany during World War 2 and steals books to share with the Jewish refugee hiding in her basement.

Teens: Celebrate 11 Years of Club Anime!

In February of 2006, our library kicked off Club Anime and now 11 years later, we are still going strong! Join us on Tuesday, February 7th at 7pm for a celebration of 11 years of anime, manga, Asian culture, and of course, Pocky. We will have a sushi bar, an array of Japanese snacks, and prizes! We will also be watching classic anime. Don't miss out! 

This program is for ages 13-18 years old. 

Teen Star Wars Perler Beads - Jan. 24 @ 4:30 PM

Come by the Teen Area on Tuesday, January 24, from 4:30-5:30 PM, to make your own Star Wars character out of perler beads. All supplies generously supplied by the Friends of the Library-Kingwood (FOLK).

Calling all Tabletop Teens! Join us on Thursday at 6:30pm for G.O.A.T.--Gaming on a Table. Bring your own tabletop games or play the games we have in stock. We have everything from Chess to Zombie Dice! Beginners welcome!

Teen 3D Printer Open Lab - Jan. 21 @ 2:00 PM

Do you want to learn how to use a 3D printer and design objects to print out? Teens can learn how during our 3D printer open lab on Saturday, January 21, from 2:00-3:00 PM in the Computer Lab.
