Monday, December 17th from 6-7:30 PM – Magic: The Gathering Gameplay [8+]

 

 

Magic: The Gathering is a dueling card game from Wizards of the Coast.

It incorporates strategy, mythical lore, and competitive-community play.

Join us on the first and third Mondays from 6PM -7:30PM on the Library Floor for a few hours of game play.

For those who would like to learn how to play, a staff member will be present to teach you.

Teens: Get Ready to Rumble with Snowball Fight V: Battle Royale

Get ready to rumble with our annual teen Snowball Fight on Thursday, December 20th at 3pm! Permission slips are available at the front desk for the snowball fight. After the fight, join us for hot cocoa, cooking decorating, and a Superhero movie! If you don't want to attend the snowball fight, you don't need a permission slip.

Friday, December 14th from 4:30 PM to 6 PM - Anime Club – Sword Art Online: Alicization (TV-14) [12+]

 

 

Join the Parker Williams Anime Club on December 14th as we start watching the continuation of the Sword Art Online story with the very next arch: Alicization.

Based on the latest light novel, we’ll follow Asuna as she figures out what happened to Kirito.

We’ll journey with Kirito as he recover’s from an attack from a former Laughing Coffin member.

Anime Club will be in the Library Community Room at 4:30 PM.

Holiday Ornament Craft

Come by Saturday, December 15th @ 2pm and make a holiday ornament with us! We will provide supplies to fill and decorate a clear ornament with holiday decor.

Friday, December 7th from 4 - 6 PM – Gaming – Fortnite Tournament [8+]

 

For our community of players, we will be hosting our version of a Fortnite Tournament where we will have a 2V2 Playground match versus players here at the Parker Williams Branch.

There will be timed rotations based on the number of players we have.

This will be happening on Friday, December 7th from 4 to 6 PM in the computer lab.

If you have USB Xbox One or PS4 controller, you can bring it and hook into our computer as long as it has the USB cord attached (or USB wireless charging cord).

Teen Book Club - Wed. November 28 @ 4:45

Come to our monthly meeting of Kingwood Library’s Teen Book Club. Discuss books, book-to-movie adaptations, and enjoy snacks.

This month we will have a “taste testing” of books. Come ready to discover new books and discuss favorites! Teen Book Club will meet on Wednesday, November 28, at 4:45-5:45 PM, in the Teen Game Room.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tomorrow’s Joe, TMS Entertainment put together a masterpiece of a series with Megalo Box.

Megalo Box is a “unique, raw, and awesome sports anime” (imdb).
