Two escape rooms on July 31 - teens and adults

Something seems a little out of place today at today's class ... when you're professor steps out of the lab, you decide to take a look at his desk and discover that he has plans to release a deadly virus. You and your classmates have less than an hour to find the code that activates the antidote he has created to save himself and his family.

Join us on Monday, July 31, when we will be running the escape room twice: for teens at 4 p.m. and for adults at 6 p.m. Please allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for participation. Individuals interested in participating can register at the Reference Desk or by calling 281-484-2036.

Apollo 11 Lunar Module from NASA Space Science Data Coordinated ArchiveWhere were you on July 21, 1969, when Neil Armstrong first stepped foot on the moon? Or were you not yet born? Come to our program on The History of the Moon this Saturday, July 22 at 10:30 am to help celebrate that historic event! Walter Kiefer, a scientist with the Lunar and Planetary Institute, will tell us—in layman’s terms—what we learned about the moon’s history through the Apollo program. He will also tell us about more recent NASA missions to the moon. This program is open to all ages, though the subject matter will appeal more to older elementary kids through 110-year olds.
