Baby Time happens Tuesday mornings at 10:15 am here at High Meadows Branch Library. This week, a special bilingual presentation of stories and bounces.

It's Storytime!!!

At High Meadows, we’ve got a sotrytime for you!
Baby Storytime: Tuesdays @ 10:15 am
Toddler Storytime: Tuesdays @ 1:00 pm
Preschool Storytime: Thursdays @ 1:00 pm

…and on the second Monday of every month:
Pajama Storytime: 2nd Monday @ 6:00 pm

Celebration!

The summer reading program is coming to a close. We had a delightful end-of-summer party. Take this opportunity to  log the books you’ve read and the things you’ve done. Come claim prizes! Be sure to keep coming to High Meadows for our resources and our activities.

Ronald McDonald will be at High Meadows this Thursday, July 6 at 11:00am. Join us for antics, magic tricks, and big red shoes.

Sharks!

Preschool Pals for kids is a Story Time for kids, ages 3-5 meets every Tuesday at 1:30 PM. Join us on June 27 for our special Shark Story Time. A fun (and safe) way to look at these magnificant creatures. 

Para los Ninos Story Time

Join us on Wednesday, May 10th, at 6:00 pm for our Para los Ninos Bilingual Storytime!  Para los Niños is a fun, educational, bilingual workshop designed by the Children’s Museum of Houston for the whole family. We will be reading stories, singing songs and enjoying hands on learning activities that will make your child’s learning fun and exciting. This program is designed for children age 3-7 years old. Each family will be given a family ticket to the Children's Museum at the conclusion of the program. Space is limited and tickets will be handed out 30 minutes before the program

Destination...Japan

Godzilla, Hello Kitty, Anime, Manga, Sushi, Origami, Kimonos...just to name a few things from Japan! Let's celebrate Asian Pacific Heritage Month with a "trip" to Japan! May 10th @ 4:30 PM. For Preschool and School Age Kids. 

Maker Monday on Monday, May 1 @ 4:30 pm features Straws & Connectors

Children 5-12 years old can get creative this Monday May 1 at 4:30 pm during Maker Monday.  We'll be using straws and connectors to make structures!   Children can use the written directions on how to make some structiures or use their imagination and come up with  amazing new creations!  Tickets are required.  They are free and available from the Kids Information Desk at 4:00 pm.
