eBooks Everywhere!!!

Tired of carrying those heavy library books from place to place? Do you wish that you could just check out books from the convenience of your own home? Well, you are in luck! The Maud Marks Library will be offering an eBooks class this Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00 PM in the computer lab. In this class you will learn what an eBook is and the services the Harris County Public Library offers for them.

Please bring your mobile device and we'll show how to find and download eBooks and/or audio books. Please bring your library card. If you don't have a device you can practice on ours. So come on by this Tuesday to the Maud Marks Library, and become an eBook reader!

Pet Food at the Library

Once again, the Houston SPCA has arrived at the Maud Marks Library with more cat and dog food. If you or someone you know is in need of pet supplies, please come to the branch to pick up items. Please bring your own bags to carry the food home.

We are open until 6 PM today. However, the food goes very quickly so come quickly.

These items are donations from around the country to Houston SPCA. We would like to thank the Houston SPCA for their dedication to getting these supplies to where they are needed most.  We are honored to partner with them to make sure the affected pets in our area are taken care of.

Color Me Relaxed!

What is the coolest way for adults to relax and have a good time? Coloring! The Maud Marks Library has an adult coloring hour on the 4th Tuesday of every month. Join us on Tuesday, September 26, at 2 PM, as we color, chat, have a snack, and listen to relaxing music. We will provide plenty of pages for coloring and colored pencils, although, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
