Feeling like it's Groundhog Day all over again? Break the cycle and stop by the North Channel Branch Library to play games on the Wii.  We’ll be hanging out in the meeting room from 4:30 to 6 pm on Wednesday, February 4th.

STEAM Camp

Do you know how to make snow inside? Learn how at our first STEAM Camp Session, Monday, January 26 at 6pm, where we will conduct an experiment and play with our results!  Each month this Spring we'll meet and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math-in that order. Free tickets are available one week before the program, which is recommended for ages 6 and up. Location: Public Meeting Room.

Winter Kid's Craft

  Do you like to paint? Well, have you ever painted with  Sensory Shivery Glittery Snow Paint?  Join us  Wednesday, January 21 at 4:30pm to indulge your curiousity! Create a snowman or anything you choose... We'll meet in the Public Meeting Room. All materials will be supplied.  This program is recommended for ages 4 and up.

Polliwog Club @ North Channel Library

Do you like animals? Deussen Park's Traveling Naturalist will be here this Tuesday, January 20 at 1:30pm at Preschool Storytime, as well as every third Tuesday this Spring with Animals Underground! Recommended for ages 4 and up. We'll meet in the Public Meeting Room. No tickets required. Groups please contact North Channel Branch at 281-457-1631.

 

Scrapbooking @ North Channel Library

scrapbookAre you interested in putting together a scrapbook but not sure where to start? Looking for some new scrapbooking ideas? Come to our monthly "Scrapbooking with Mia" program.  This month we will meet on Saturday, January 17th from 10 am to 1 pm in the meeting room. Don't forget to bring your photos. See you there!

Strings Attached

YarnandNeedlesStrings Attached, the North Channel Branch's needle crafting group, will meet on the second Wednesday of the month.  This month we will gather in the meeting room on January 14th. The intermediate group will meet at 1:30 pm. The beginners group will meet at 4:30 pm.  If you are interested in learning how to knit or crochet, please feel to join us.   Come, learn a new skill, meet a new friend and create a one-of-a-kind memory!
