Start the new year with your friends. Stop by the North Channel Branch Library for play games on the Wii.  We’ll be hanging out in the meeting room from 4:30 to 6 pm on Wednesday, January 7th.

English as a Second Language Classes for 2015--Register NOW!

           Need to improve your English skills? At the North Channel Branch we will begin accepting Level 1 English as a Second Language (ESL) applications for our free classes on Monday, Dec. 22nd.  We will offer two Level 1 classes starting in January. The Monday and Wednesday 10-12 noon classes will be starting Mon. Jan. 12th and Tuesday and Thursday 6-8 PM classes begin Tues. January 13th. 

       For ESL Level 2 students, we accept applications for the ongoing Tuesday/Thursday 6-8 PM evening class throughout the year. We will begin new ESL Level 2 Monday/Wednesday 10-12 noon classes Monday Jan. 12th and begin accepting applications for that class Dec. 22nd as well. Come in today to register!

Faithful Paws@NChannel Branch!

 Would you like to cuddle up with a good book and a friendly pooch? Then come on down to the Children's Area this Saturday from 2-3pm!  The North Channel Branch hosts the Faithful Paws Pet Therapy program every third Saturday all year long.  Well trained and groomed dogs will listen to beginning,struggling, or any interested readers to build their confidence or just have fun...

Scrapbooking @ North Channel This Saturday

Monday Movie Madness @ North Channel!

Teen Craft--MeeTeen

ProjectTeens and tweens, come to the MeeTeen, North Channel's monthly teen craft program. We will meet on the second Thursday of the month in the meeting room.  Join us at the North Channel Branch Library on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 4:30 pm for a craft and art project.  All materials will be provided.   

Strings Attached Knitting Group Meets December 10th

knittingLooking to make a cozy scarf for this winter? Want to give someone a homemade present this holiday season? How about a knitted item from the heart?  Our Strings Attached Knitting Group will meet two times on Wednesday, December 10th. The intermediate group will meet at 1:30 pm. The beginners group will meet at 4:30 pm.  All ages welcome. If you are interested in learning how to knit or crochet, please join us!

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME: TUESDAYS @ 1:30 PM

Three to six year old children and parents are invited to join us for Preschool Story Time on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm. Senior Children's Assistant Kimberly Tiller shares her favorite stories, old and new! Plus we share songs, fingerplays and occassional crafts!
