Para los Ninos/For the Children: How Does It Work?

Join us Wednesday, March 21 at 4:30pm for "How Does It Work?", part of the Para los Ninos/For the Children Series when we'll explore beginning science concepts through exciting activities! Activities are developed by the Children's Museum of Houston and feature bilingual elements on the subjects of balance, sound, magentism, electrical circuits, and more...Famillies attending will receive a free pass to the museum good for at least 4 persons. ODAATHey Teens! Join us for MeeTeen this afternoon at 4:30 PM for a viewing of the Netflix hit show, One Day at a Time.

This series follows the life of a Cuban-American family as they navigate the ups and downs of life. 

Once Upon a Story Time

We will read fun stories, listen to rhymes, and make a craft at this Family evening program. 
Feel free to come in your pajamas and ready to have some fun.

Tinkering with Tinkercad

tinkercadJoin us March 15, 2018 at 6:00 PM for Tinkering with TINKERCAD. At this program you will learn about making 3D designs to print on a 3D Printer.  After you have created your design, join us back in the Computer Lab on Saturday, March 17 at 2:30 PM for a 3D Printer Orientation. This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library.

Storybook Opera

 Head to the North Channel Library for some Spring Break entertainment! On Wednesday, March 14 at 2:30pm & 3:30pm we will host Bantam of the Opera by Storybook Opera.

Wii Game Day

smash bros.Join us for a brawling good time at our Wii Game Day this Wednesday, March 7 at 4:30 PM in the Public Meeting Room. 
We will play fun games like Super Smash Bros. and MarioKart on our Wii and big screen. This program is recommended for ages 8-12 years old. mario kart

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

HBDTheodor Seuss Geisel was an American author best known for authoring more than 60 children's books under the name Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss was born on March 22, 1904. Today we celebrate his birthday with an after school craft at 4:30 PM in the Children's Area of the library.

Pokemon Club

Meet and battle other Pokemon gamers & trainers here at North Channel Library on Saturday, February 24 from 3-4pm.  Bring your cards and/or Nintendo DS games for fun and enjoy crafts and refreshments too...Pokemon Club meets monthly and is recommended for children ages 6-12 years. No registration is required. We'll meet in the Children's Area this time.
