Calling all future doctors to the Parker Williams Branch, we need to operate on some troubled leprechauns.

Join us on March 17th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in the Library Community Room to create your own custom leprechaun Operation style game.

Classic Disney Movie Marathon March 16 @ 1-6 PM [10+]

To get into the mood for the new Beauty and the Beast live action movie, we are getting ready by hosting a Classic Disney Movie Marathon.

Join us for one or all of the listed movies on March 16th from 1 to 6 PM in the Library Community Room. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

For all those who love monster movies and sci-fi, Pacific Rim is the perfect mash up. While watching the film, we are going to make kawaii (cute) Kaiju with puffy paint. Join us in the Library Community Room for snacks, drinks, craft, and fun.
 

 

SCORE presents: how to be a successful bidder

Contractors must juggle between two possibilities when estimating costs for their customers: If my bid is too low, I will lose money. If I bid too high, my customers will leave me, and use my competitor.

Join us on Saturday, March 18 at 10:30 a.m. for a discussion about how to accurately set the sales prices you need to quote to your customers. Keith Stine, a retired electrical contractor and current SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) mentor, will help participants with the following topics and more:

Craft-A-Polusa! March 14th @ 2-4 PM [8+]

If you have no idea what you want to do during Spring Break, come on down to the Parker Williams Branch library. 

On March 14, we will be opening up the Library Community Room from 2 to 4 in the afternoon for kids to create and explore a variety of crafts that were left over from our fall and winter programs.

Daughters of the Republic of Texas Historical Presentation March 4th @ 10:30 AM [7+]

Please join us in the Parker Williams Branch in Learning Room 3 for a presentation of historical relics.

The presenter will talk about what it was like to live in Texas before, during, and after the establishment of the Republic of Texas. This presentation is for kids of all ages, and adults too, on Saturday, March 4th at 10:30 AM.

Read Across America – Cat in the Hat Celebration March 2nd @ 5PM [3+]

Read Across America is the nationally recognized literary holiday that celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday and encourages kids of all ages to pick up a book and read.

This year, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat.
 

Come join us on March 2nd in the Library Community Room at 5 PM for a reading of the book, a Cat in the Hat craft, and a sweet treat.
