Las clases de computacion gratis van a continuar todo el verano! Tenemos clases para principantes y mas advanzadas para los que ya saben lo basico. Aqui esta una lista de los clases basicas:

Lunes Junio 3 @ 5:30- Computacion Basica

Miercoles Junio 5 @ 10:15- Raton y Teclado

Jueves Junio 6 @10:15- Mecanografia

Unas clases tienen requisitos, asi que llama la biblioteca en 713-941-2385, o haga click aqui para saber mas informacion. No se requiere registracion, y todas las clases son GRATIS! Espero ver los en Junio!

Soda Bottle Flowers

Join us on Monday, May 20, 2013 @ 1:30 pm in celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and paint a cherry blossom tree on a canvas using paint and soda bottles.  All materials will be provided by the Friends of the South Houston Library.

Bird Feeder Craft -Thursday, April 18 @ 4pm

eReader Extravaganza this Saturday!

Have you ever wanted to "test drive" an iPad or a Kindle? This is your chance to try an eReader that you have been curious about, or have considered purchasing! The South Houston Library will be hosting a technology petting zoo this Saturday April 6th @ 2:30. The technology zoo includes; iPads, Nook Color, Kindle, iPods and much more! Easter Craft, Thursday, March 28 @ 4PM

Don't forget the South Houston Library offers FREE computer classes. Whether you've never touched a computer or already know a little bit, we have a  computer class for you! Call the library at 713-941-2385 for more information, or you can stop by and pick up a April calendar. Here is a list of our basic classes:

Monday April 1st @ 1:30pm- Computer Basics

Wednesday April 3rd @ 1:30pm- Mouse & Keyboard

Thursday April 4th @ 1:30pm- Typing

Pick up your IRS Tax Forms!

 We are less than a month away from the IRS deadline to file your 2012 income tax.  The deadline is set for Monday, April 15, 2013.  If you have not filed your income tax yet and need a form/instruction booklet etc.  come by our branch and pick it up.  Please visit our home page for our business hours.

Free Exercise Classes! / Clases de Ejercicio Gratis!

Join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for a variety of exercise classes.  That include either walking or dancing away those unwanted pounds.  For class time please call the branch @ 713-941-2385, come by the branch and pick up a calendar or take a look at our online calendar of events.

Don't forget, all Harris County Public Library branches will be CLOSED Monday January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King's birthday.
