Program: Myths of Grief

myths of griefGrief is a complex emotion experienced differently by each person and in every situation. When we are in the midst of grief, we know that many of the things we are doing are not actually helping us to recover.

At an upcoming library program, Myths of Grief, we will discuss some common misconceptions about how we grieve, and what steps each person can take to help them recover. Lance Decker, a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist who became certified after his family experienced their own loss, will be leading the session.

This program will be presented on Saturday, September 9th at 3:00 pm. Please join us in the first floor Meeting Room (L129) for an informative, free presentation.

For more information, call the library at 832-559-4200.
