Wild Things Zoofari visits Freeman Library on Thursday, August 3 @ 2:30 & 3:30 pm

  What do a lemur, a toucan, and a wallaby have in common?  They are just a few of the amazing Wild Things Zoofari animals that will be shown at Freeman Library on Thursday, August 3 at 2:30 & 3:30 pm.   Wild Things Zoofari will be bringing several animals for show-and-tell during this fun and educational program.   This program is recommended for children 3 years and older.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available starting 30 minutes before each session.  Due to the popularity of live animal shows, we recommend that children arrive with their grown up about 30 minutes before tickets are given out.   Freeman opens at 1 pm on Thursdays.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this program.

Lego Party and Movie

Celebrate your summer reading success with our celebration for all readers including games, crafts, snacks and fun for all.

Meet the Houston Astros' mascot Orbit on Thursday, July 27 at 2:30 & 3:30 pm

   Houston Astros fans can show their team spirit this Thursday, July 27 by coming out to see the team mascot, Orbit, as he does shows at 2:30 & 3:30 pm.  Orbit uses humor and music to demonstrate the importance of summer reading for children.  This program is recommended for children 3 years and older.    Tickets are required.  They are free and available starting 30 minutes before each session.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this fun program and many others throughout the year.  Freeman Library opens at 1 pm on Thursdays.

Toddlers-in Motion returns on Friday, July 21 at 10:15 am

   Toddlers from 18 months old through 3 years old will enjoy lots of activity during Toddlers-in-Motion at 10:15 am on Friday morning.  This fun and active program requires tickets.  They are free and available when the library opens at 10:00 am.  The children are encouraged to wear lose clothes and comfortable shoes to help them move around a bit.  They'll also enjoy playing with some new Toddler-approved toys that have been purchased through the generous donations of the Friends of Freeman Library.

Happy the Clown visits Freeman Library on Thursday, July 20 for shows at 2:30 & 3:30 pm

 Happy the Clown spreads his magic and jokes around when he visits Freeman :Library on Thursday, July 20 at 2:30 and 3:30 pm.   This program is recommended for children 3 years and older.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available starting 30 minutes before each session.  Due to limited space in the room, strollers will not be admitted to the performance area.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for their generous support of this program.

Family Storytime this Saturday, July 15 @ 11:00 am

   After a tasty Saturday morning breakfast, children and their grownups may want to join us on  this Saturday morning, July 15 at 11:00 am for stories and songs during Family Storytime.  No tickets are needed for this fun program.  So, come and join us for stories and songs with a fish theme.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this program and many others throughout the year.
