Book an Adventure @ the Library

One of the great things about becoming a reader is that you have the ability to go anywhere, be anyone and learn anything you desire.

This week I have booked readers on a trip to discover lands far from Texas. You better dress warm because here the  frigid temperatures have dipped well below freezing and you are in a race against time.

Elementary Reads

Akiak: a Tale from the Iditarod  Robert J. Blake.

Small but Mighty

When I was in elementary school my teacher, Miss Rice, read to the class every day after lunch. In third grade, I fell in love with a mouse when she shared, what I now consider to be a children's classic book, The Mouse and The MotorcycleIt was that point that I was truly hooked into becoming a reader.

Mystery, Magic and Adventure with the Scent of Medieval Japan

Station of the Tokaido by Hiroshige
Sword Fighting Skills, Samurai, Spirits and Ninja

Pendragon Ends

Soldiers of HallaThis morning, on my way to work, I finished listening to The Soldiers of Halla, the final book in the Pendragon series by D.J. MacHale.
