Want to Vote for the 2012-2013 Bluebonnets?

Consider coming to our Bluebonnet Discussion Group! We meet on select Monday afternoons at 3:30 to discuss two or three titles. Check out our online Calendar of Events, or come into the branch to pick up a book discussion schedule. 2012-2013 Texas Bluebonnet Award voting for Baldwin Boettcher will be held on Monday, January 28th.  Any child who has read five books on the list may vote.  

French Storytime: Thursday, November 18th at 4 PM

Kids, join us after school for our French/German Club on November 18th at 4 PM as we listen to stories in French, learn a few new French words, eat French snacks, and make a French craft. Anyone see a theme  going on here?

GHOSTLY TALES: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28TH AT 4 PM

Dragoneers, join us this Thursday, October 28th after school for a special Halloween treat,  presented by Scott H. Bumgardener of Texas Legacies, a professional storyteller and winner of the 2005 Louisiana State Champion Liar’s Crown. All children 5-12, and their families are welcome. Meet us in the children’s meeting room at 4 p.m.
