To celebrate all of the different video games that have been released this month, we are going to be playing Sword Art Online on Friday, October 25th at 5 PM in the Library Community Room for Anime Club. I’m sure you’ll be hooked and not able to log out.   

Friday, October 12th from 4 PM to 6 PM - Anime Club Classic – Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (TV-PG) [10+]

There have been so many good shows released in anime throughout the years. In response to a rise in interest, we are adding session of Anime Club dedicated to the Classics.

These are anime that have passed the test of time, and captured fan boy/girl hearts over the years.

On October 12th from 4-6PM, we’ll be following the path of four secret operatives as they fight to free their homes in space. 

Anime Club – My Hero Academia (TV-14) [12+] - Friday, September 28th from 4 PM to 6 PM

After a summer of music, everyone is going back to school, even the Parker Williams Anime Club.

Join us as we watch the journey of Izuku Midoria as he battles his way into UA Academy, the school of his dreams.

Anime Club will be meeting in the Library Community Room starting at 4 PM.

Last but not least, we have the punk rock  inspired Space Dandy.

Join us for 2 hours of finger snapping, head banging anime and Pocky in the Library Community Room on Friday, August 17th from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Parker Williams Branch Library.

Starting off with Cowboy Bebop, we will get the full jazz experience from Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts as we rocket around Mars.

Join us for 2 hours of jazz infused action packed anime and Pocky in the Library Community Room on Friday, June 22nd from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Parker Williams Branch Library.

To keep in the spirt of the Star Wars universe, we are going to be showing episodes from the modernized Star Blazers series Space Battleship Yamato 2199.

Much like Leia’s mission to pass on the Death Star’s plans, the Yamato is the last beacon of hope for earth on a mercy mission to Iscandar for the fabled device that will save the earth.
