This summer, we are showing some anime that rocks!

Coming up second, we have the hip hop infused Samurai Champloo.

Join us for 2 hours of hip hoppin’ action packed anime and Pocky in the Library Community Room on Friday, July 20th from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Parker Williams Branch Library.

This summer, we are showing some anime that rocks!

Starting off with Cowboy Bebop, we will get the full jazz experience from Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts as we rocket around Mars.

Join us for 2 hours of jazz infused action packed anime and Pocky in the Library Community Room on Friday, June 22nd from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Parker Williams Branch Library.

Anime Club – Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (TV-PG) [10+] - Friday, May 11th at 5 PM

To keep in the spirt of the Star Wars universe, we are going to be showing episodes from the modernized Star Blazers series Space Battleship Yamato 2199.

Much like Leia’s mission to pass on the Death Star’s plans, the Yamato is the last beacon of hope for earth on a mercy mission to Iscandar for the fabled device that will save the earth.

Anime Club – YURI!!! On Ice! (TV-14) [14+] - Friday, February 16 at 5 PM

With the Winter Olympics in full swing, it’s the perfect time to focus on the intense world of figure skating through the award winning and beloved series YURI!!! On Ice!.

Anime Club – Hunter X Hunter (TV-14) [14+] - Friday, January 19 at 5 PM

The Parker Williams Branch Anime Club is exploring the interesting world of Hunter X Hunter.

For December, the Parker Williams Anime Club is going into overtime as we play the feature film Trigun: Badlands Rumble.

Anime Club – My Hero Academia Re-Do (TV-14) October 27th @ 5 PM [14+]

Due to Hurricane Harvey arriving on August 26th, we never got to view My Hero Academia.

Since it is such an awesome series, we are dedicating the time to view it.

Anime Club – Psycho Pass (TV-14) September 22nd @ 5 PM [14+]

With Banned Books Week starting the next day, the Parker Williams Anime Club is going to explore the world of Psycho Pass, a place where your mental state is determined by the color of you hue.
