In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we are playing the anime movie Metropolis based on manga legend Osamu Tezuka’s story.

We will be taking some of Osamu Tezuka’s comics and decoupage them to create Manga Boxes.

We have a lot of events going on for teens next week! Anime Club starts back up on Tuesday, 9/8, we have a new Comic Club on Thursday, 9/10, and an epic Gaming Tournament on Saturday, 9/12! Kingwood Branch Library also has a club for teen writers starting on Monday, 9/14. More details below!

TEENS: Anime Marathon, Friday 8/14

Summer’s almost over, but there’s time to squeeze in one last Anime Marathon at the Kingwood Library! Join us in the Meeting Room on Friday, August 14 from 3:00-5:00. This is the last official teen event for the Summer Reading Program, and is your last chance to get in a final entry for the prize pack drawings.
