Recovering the Classics [UPDATE]

A lot of people enjoyed creating new artwork or voting on their favorites for Recovering the Classics. And we love it when we have so many people show so much interest in such a wonderful idea. Originally we had decided to award the creations with the most votes a classic book featuring their artwork. In the end we decided that all of our participants were so creative and had worked so hard on their entires that they all needed to be rewarded. So everyone who participated will be receiving a classic book featuring their own artwork and they'll get to take home the print that was created for the program.

Help Us Decorate Our Children's Area!!!

Recently we were lucky enough to receive a wonderful token of appreciation from a family.  They made us a poster with their favorite characters.  We thought it was awesome and immediately hung it on the wall in the children's area.

In fact, we would love to have more children's artwork up in the library!  Here is your chance to let everyone know how much you love the library, tell us about your favorite book or book character!  Get out your markers, crayons, poster board and craft supplies and get creative!

We can't wait to see your work and hang it on our walls!
