Meet Our Library Staff; Part V

In our ongoing "Meet The Library Staff" series, we are introducing Ms. Cindy:

The Library Went to the Dogs!

Last week our library was overrun by kittens.

This week, as part of our Springtime Story Time, the puppies came to our library!

Meet Our Library Staff II

Welcome back to the “Meet the Library Staff” Series.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Library Staff at Baldwin Boettcher

As Branch Librarian, I would like to thank all of our patrons for using our library services.  This goes for the loyal customers, new customers and hopefully customers looking for a library to enjoy.   This past year the library has seen alot of changes and if you know my staff and I, you will experience more in the future.

We have added 8 new computers for public use.  This means our booking station is not being used as often; as we usually have one computer open when you walk in the door.  We are, however, having trouble with Internet Explorer so we are encouraging everyone to use the Chrome button.  Need advice? help?  Ask us.

The staff at Baldwin Boettcher and myself wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and time with your family.  Whether you are traveling or staying home, be safe.  We look forward to seeing you on Dec 2nd.  We will resume normal hours starting then.

New Things in Store

The Baldwin Boettcher Library has been making many changes over the last year to create an environment that is pleasant, organized, and technologically friendly.  The latest change we are making is we will no longer offer Family Storytime on Wednesday evenings.  Instead we will be providing a more diverse array of programs for the whole community to enjoy.  Such as more food programs and art classes that the public has shown a great interest in.  Don't worry folks we still have our other story times available for the kids to enjoy.  Lapsit Storytime on Tuesdays at 10 am, Toddler Storytime on Thursdays at 10:30 am, and Preschool Storytime on Tuesdays at 11 am.  So come back to see and experience what is new at Baldwin Boettcher Library!

Young Adult Book Club

We will explore popular young adult fantasy and dystopian novels every month at the Young Adult Book Club at the Baldwin Boettcher Library. Our next meeting is Monday, May 12 at 6 PM, and we will be discussing the book Divergent by Veronica Roth.
