Blind Date with a Book

Blind Date With A Book

Hey teens, do you have plans for Valentine’s Day? How about going on a blind date? For the month of February we will be offering blind dates … with books! We will have all kinds of lovingly wrapped book for you to choose from; the only thing is, you will not be able to see what your book is until you get home. At the end of your blind date with the book let us know how it went. Hopefully it was a match.

Love Story Seeking Library Reader

Stratford Library is getting into the dating business - blind dating! For the month of February we'll be hosting Blind Date With a Book. We've gift wrapped several love stories and romances and have hidden all the information about the book except for the category. We invite you to check out one of these books, take your "date" home, unwrap it, and settle in for a romantic read. Perhaps you'll discover a new author or genre that you like! Return the book with a Rate-a-Date bookmark filled out and be entered into a drawing for a date for two at Baytown's Premiere Cinema.

Book Date Update

Ladies and Gentlemen it is time to spill the beans. We are nearing the end of our blind date with a book program and we want to know how your dates went. Were they a little boring, not exciting enough or maybe a little too over the top? Give us the scoop. If you haven't participated yet in our blind date with a book, you still have a chance! Dating ends on Thursday February 14th so stop by the Northwest Library and pick up your "date" before we have to send them home. Also remember that the surveys are to be turned in before the end of this month so you can receive your prize.  So, how did your date go?
