Books Alive! Week

Books Alive! Week 2017 Ends on Friday, March 17th

Friday is the last official day of Freeman Library's Books Alive! Week for 2017.  We've had a great turnout for fun programs such as Mondays visit from Marsha's Petting Zoo with a surprise visit from HEB's Buddy and Wednesday's face painting and balloon animals from Party Animals with a surprise superhero visitor.   For Friday, we finish off Books Alive! Week with sidewalk chalk on the Diana Lane side of the library from 2:30-3:30 pm.  If the rain shows up, we'll stay in the Children's Department with coloring sheets and fun with markers and stencils.    For tweens aged 8-12 years old, there will be tabletop games from 4:00-5:00 pm in the Children's Activity Space.  Tickets will be given out at 3:30 pm.

Books Alive! Week 2017 starts Monday, March 13

:Looking for something fun and free to do during Spring Break?  Well, Freeman Library continues with the tradition of having a program on each day of the week during Spring Break (3/13/17 - 3/17/17).  These programs, along with many throughout the year, are sponsored through the generous donations of the Friends of Freeman Library.  Here are the upcoming programs in the Children's Department:
