Best Practices for Moving your Business Online: SCORE presentation this Saturday

Small business owners, this is really worthwhile.
SCORE is a nonprofit association supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground and grow and achieve their goals, through education and mentorship. Once a quarter they give an excellent presentation here at the library. So far ALL their workshops have been some of the most excellent presentations we have had, so they are truly worth coming to.

-how to research your competitors online
-how to choose the right type of website for your particular business
-how to explore options of building your own website vs. hiring a professional
-the required steps for setting up online (domain, webhost, etc)
-what type of online marketing promotion tools are available
-how to measure the results and avoid some common pitfalls
