What does candy and questions really mean? February is the month we celebrate Valentine’s Day. Northwest Branch will be doing a Valentine’s Day trivia for the adults. All you will need to do is come by the library to pick up your trivia sheet. Answer the trivia questions to the best of your knowledge and turn it in before the 28th of the month. When you turn in your sheet you will be eligible to win a surprise treat!

Candy is a nice treat, but the business of confections can be anything but kind. Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was partially based on two of England's biggest candy rivals, Cadbury and Rowntree. The companies would often steal trade secrets from each other by sending spies to work in both factories.

If you’re going into Junior High or High School next year, don’t miss Mondays at 2:30pm at the library. This Monday (6/06) is lifesize Candyland. No, it’s NOT what you played as a kid. This one has candy sushi, the snack cake tower, and sauer kraut. Sauer kraut??? You’ll see.
Calling all the single ladies (and gentleman)! Don't spend Valentine's Day by yourself, join us at the library on Monday, February 14th at 4:30pm for an afternoon of candy, crafts and karaoke. We will create edible and inedible bracelets, heart cookie magnets and more. Don't miss it!
