Use Basic Chemistry to Create a Crystal Project

If you only want to checkout one book this week, I would suggest that you get Science and Craft Projects with Wildlife, by Ruth Owen. Why?  It includes the instructions on how to make crystal "rocks' using borax.  This was one of my favorite things to do as a kid, and every child that I have shared it with, absolutely loves it!
