Celebrate Día with HCPL

diaJoin us this week in honor of the 20th anniversary of El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día.   Día is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Festivities this week at HCPL include hosting the play Bravo, Chico Canta! Bravo! adapted from the book by Pat Mora and Libby Martinez and presented by Brave Little Company.

Chico Canta and his family invite you to make music, put on plays, and speak many languages inside the walls of the old theater where they live.
