Citizenship Classes Happening Now!

Citizenship Classes are back! They are every Monday at 7pm in our Computer Lab.

Prepare for the United States Citizenship exam with this course. Classes are in English and study materials are provided by HCPL. Please note that this course does not grant citizenship and does not cover the cost of the exam.

Programs and services are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant. Special accommodations can be requested in advance by contacting the library.

Free Citizenship Classes/ Clases de Ciudadania Gratis

The South Houston Library is now offering free citizenship classes! These classes are designed for adults preparing to take the naturalization test. Classes start Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 10:30 am- 12:30 pm. Space is limited and Registration is Required! Register in person at the library or by phone at 832-927-5530. Jacinto City Branch Library offers ESL and Citizenship Classes!

Because we know how important learning English is, we have two options available for ESL classes.  We also understand the importance of becoming a U.S. Citizen.  We have two citizenship classes available both taught in English.
