college

Teens & Adults - Saturday, 12/16 @ 10:30 AM - Bright Futures College Financial Planning Seminar!

No one wants to be "a day late and a dollar short" - especially in regards to a higher education. Elana Denham of Bright Futures Consulting will provide parents and students with clear, relevant information on financial planning for before, during, and after college. This includes a review of financial aid and repayment plans, and spotlights Texas-specific programs.

The Friends of Freeman Library support this free event.

We Learn Something New Every Day

You don’t have to go to college to learn something new, but today I am going to teach you a few things you may not have known about the college.
First of all, you do not have to have a college card nor be a student to check out items at Lone Star College Library - North Harris County Branch. They also do have a small, but nice children’s collection.

The Road to College

Are you ready for college? Drop in any time between 10am to 2pm on Saturday, September 9th and talk with representatives about financing your education, scoring your best on the ACT and SAT, and more! No registration is required. You will also be able to register for ACT and SAT Practice Tests in advance before they go live next week on our website.
