Crafts-to-Go Celebrates Native American Heritage Month

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library will offer the continuation of the Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program in conjunction with Native American Heritage Month on Thursday, November 1^st. This month's project is a scratch art leaf as pictured on the right. On the reverse side of the directions is a web link to the Wyandot legend of why the leaves are so many different colors in the autumn. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library. This project will be available at the Second Floor Information Desk while supplies last.

Crafts-to-Go Salutes National Hispanic Heritage Month

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the continuation of the Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program in conjunction with National Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday, September 4^th. This time, we'll be crafting a flower key chain as pictured on the right. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library. This project will be available at the Second Floor Information Desk while supplies last.

September - Adult Programs @ your library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us for our September Programs*. We look forward to _under50^over, various book clubs (mystery, great books, and two science fiction/fantasy clubs), Crafts-to-Go, Freeman Needlecrafters, Appy Hour, College Series - Part II - Essay Writing, and Clear Lake Area Writers (CLAW). We will also see the return of Job Search Skills Seminars presented by Workforce Solutions, MWA Advisors, and Girl Scout Express, In addition, Hispanic Heritage Month begins Saturday, September 15^th .

All programming is supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Adult Crafts-to-Go! Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the “Adult Craft to Go” program beginning Wednesday, September 15^th. Supplies will be designed to last through Friday, October 15^th.

To recognize Hispanic Heritage Month, the craft project is a "gods' eye" which can be picked up at the second floor Information Desk. This project can be taken anywhere and made anywhere.

Summer is back and so are the Adult Crafts-to-Go! Starting Tuesday, June 1st, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers Adult "Crafts-to-Go!" projects at the Second Floor Information Desk. Each bag features an all-supplies included craft project. The levels of difficulty vary. This project can be made at home, too. Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Crafts-to-Go!

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Starting Monday, May 3rd, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program.
